Glorifying God by caring for all people and the world around us

Welcome to Church of Our Saviour. This official web site provides information to visitors and members about the happenings at God's church in Placerville, California.

Placerville is in the heart of the California Gold Rush, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Range. Gold was discovered in California at Coloma, 8 miles away. Coloma is the site of the Marshall Gold Discovery State Park.

We worship in the Anglican tradition, with our roots in English and Celtic mysticism, reaching back, beyond English Christianity, to the worship and traditions of Jesus' Apostles.
We are open to the movement of the Holy Spirit in our lives and in our church. The via media, the middle way, informs our actions and practices.

We are a welcoming community. All manner of people are welcome here. Please join us in our journey with God. Visitors, please see our welcome page.
