Welcome to the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour. This official web site provides information to visitors and members about the happenings at the Episcopal Church in Placerville, California.

Placerville is in the heart of the California Gold Rush, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Range. Gold was discovered in California at Coloma, 8 miles away. Coloma is now a state park.

We are part of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California, The Rt. Rev. Barry Beisner, bishop. The Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Chuch is the Most Rev. Katherine Jefforts Schori. We are also part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, The Most Rev. and Rt. Hon. Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury.
